The use of driver less cars is set to become more popular in the next decade with the technology rapidly developing and in some places already in use as such in airports they using driverless shuttles to take passengers from terminal to terminal. They work well in well defined areas where conditions are in some way controllable like in an enclosed airport where it can be mapped out completely and all obstacles are known. To get these on the main public highways where conditions can not be controlled like an enclosed area is still in development but are making big progress as with the video of a driver less car speeding around racetrack at 150 mph
