Histroy of Asimo- (Advanced Step in Innovative MObility)

Honda began developing humanoid robots in the 1980s, including several prototypes that preceded asimo it was the company goal to create a walking robot which could not only adapt and interact in human situations, but also improve the quality of life the first robot prototypes that preceded began back in 1986 in china. there goal was to create a robot that could walk like a human they had limited success then as the video suggested that it could walk but it was human like

after a few more revisions between the years 1987-1993 the had some more success in getting the robot to begin to walk like a human but the biggest challenge was yet to come 

their challenge now is to make the robot more human and less like a terminator. the first idderation of the humanoid robot was in 1996 where the asmino predicator was give a head and a chest and not just two legs
